Synopsis: In 1980s Czechoslovakia, young sprinter Anna joins the national team to train for the Olympics. Unknowingly placed in a secret "medical programme", her performance improves until she collapses and discovers the truth. Determined, Anna continues training without steroids, despite her mother's fears that this may jeopardize her Olympic dream and escape from behind the Iron Curtain.
