Synopsis: Santa, a rural peasant girl, swallows a fish from a wilderness lake and awakens transformed. Bound by a pact to end her mother’s life and carry her across the desert toward a heaven they believe is real, she sets out on a surreal journey. Along the way, a priest, a troupe of female wrestlers, and even a gruff policeman - first her captor, then her unlikely believer - are drawn into her quest toward the world beyond the horizon.
